Jillian Michaels has a passion for her dancers. As they were continuing to get hurt by overuse and improper form, she began a series of conditioning classes. These classes were a mix of pilates, yoga, and ballet with a little extra push that her advanced dancers required for healthy mobility in their techniques.
In an effort to encourage parents to experience dance in new ways, the parents of these students were invited to join the class, thus was born... Power-Barre. The parents loved the classes and said, "It was the best work out" they had ever had. They felt muscles they never knew existed and felt longer and leaner, more supported in their posture and every day functional movement.
We never looked back and have made it a mission to continue to provide new classes each week that keeps clients feeling lean, flexible, and happier.
Power-Barre was founded on the principles of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Applying proper form from an

No class is EVER the same. Our curriculum ensures you will never get bored or overuse any muscle groups, but give you a full body work out with low impact.
